We hiked this on a Wednesday on 4th of July and saw very few people throughout the day.
This loop was covered in wildflowers. Missouri Lake Pass was definitely the prettier side, but the trail was also gorgeous between the two passes. With wide open spaces this could have been a great place to camp if the lakes would have been too crowded. I stopped about a million times throughout the entire trail to take photos. I'm sure Brandon was sick of me before we finished! :p
We started up Missouri Lake Pass and come down Fancy pass, which worked perfect with the steeper elevation on Fancy Pass. It also let us see the most beautiful part of the trail during the best light and with less people.
Comments and questions always welcome, let's hear your experience.
Otherwise enjoy the photos!
